| Who We Are: The Sullivan Area Chamber was established in October of 2007 and has grown to over 30 businesses in the greater Sullivan and Rome areas. Although we are a new organization, we are committed to support the growth and development of business. We have a desire to strengthen the quality of life in our community and to keep members informed, connected Our Interests and Goals: As the "pulse of the business community", the Sullivan Area Chamber fulfills many needs and offers numerous benefits and services to our members. This year the Chamber took on the task of reinventing the famous "World's Greatest Junk Parade" this past Labor Day weekend. In a nutshell... It was phenomenal! HUGE! Chamber members brought back the zany junk parade that ran from 1979 to 1990. After a twenty year lapse of time and a lot of hard work, the event enticed over 40 entries and 10,000 onlookers. |
